Rizuto`s in Colorado Springs

Great ice cream and great prices 🍨. Wide variety of flavors. Added this to my favorite places. Will definitely come again.

Best ice cream in the state - come for the pineapple soft-serve, stay for the gelato!

I find the soft serve the best because it is $4 for 12 inches of ice cream about.

Bring your sweet tooth to Rizuto's because it will be in for a treat. There is soft serve ice cream, hard pack ice cream, gelato, blizzards, you name it, and if it is made from ice cream, they can make it. AND they are generous with their portions. I had a Banana Split, and it was so big that I could not finish it on my first try. The styrofoam container it came in looked to me to be the size of a big dog water bowl. Well worth the trip down Barnes with all the construction going on. Maybe Rizuto's is the reason why they had to widen the road.

We think this is one of the best ice cream places in Colorado Springs. They have awesome flavors, awesome prices, and the workers are so friendly and helpful. You can get a huge soft serve ice cream here for a couple bucks. We come here often, and love it!

Great ice cream, great price and the flavor of the day is always good (but pineapple is best). Night crew is a little lack lustrous, packing the wrong ice cream, having to repeat the size a few times because they stopped after a scoop (seeming to forget where they were, and what they were doing for about 10 minutes). Daytime crew is wonderful!! Attentive, cheerful, and excellent customer service!!!!

The best ice cream shop ever! They have huge cones for only a dollar (see picture) as well as shakes and soda with real sugar.I’m sure the dentists love that hahaThe outside of the shop will make you wanna drive off and try a new spot. But don’t “judge a book by its cover” and let this one pass by. Stop and try it out - you’ll be glad you did :)

Was taken to Rizuto's by some friends on a double date, cause how could you not eat ice cream when it is 30 degrees out! The ice cream was delicious! The employee let us taste a few flavors before deciding what to get, I had the "apple pie" flavor and my man got the "chocolate brownie" flavor. The portion sizes were a great value for the price! We will definitely be back!

It was busy and mentioned it was out first time ever going and they girl rushed us along. I asked about flavors and she names 3 for my girls.I didn't even get to view the flavors in front of the glass due to a large family having trouble deciding (which is perfectly fine). My kids had cotton candy and I went with the pineapple soft serve which was okay but not spectacular definitely not ice cream. If we had more time to choose I am sure our experience would have been better. We will try again at a later date and hope we won't be rushed next time .

Seriously, the best place to get a frosty treat in the Springs. Bring the whole family cause there is not a place with better prices and you won't spend a days wages trying to do something nice for your family. Friendly and helpful and always delicious!

Today Rizuto's had raspberry and pineapple soft serve in addition to the standard vanilla and chocolate. Tempting, but my boys chose the hand dipped scoops instead. They both raved about how yummy it was. The servers are always so pleasant. Never have felt rushed to make a decision, and so willing to give taste spoons of any flavor. You can't go wrong at this lovely locally owned ice cream shop.

I normally LOVE this place but was super disappointed with the health and safety practices during COVID-19. The customers were out the door and there was no regard to social distancing at all. I realize it is the customers responsibility, but there was not the typical precautions like floor markings as where to stand. There were no barriers between the servers and customers. Hardly any customers were wearing masks which everyone was super close to each other. The servers did not wear serving gloves. There was no washing of hands between customers. There was no sanitizing the credit card machine buttons/signature area between customers. There was no one washing tables after customer use. I was pretty disgusted and disappointed with the owners/management of Rizuto's tonight for the disregard of their employees and their customers. I will be pay a little more and go to Dairy Queen, Rita's Italian ice, etc to get my ice cream fix from now on.

Giving a lower rating because employees don't know how to treat people with some kindness over the phone. Just called to confirm business hours and when I asked "are you all open tonight?" I got hung up on. Then when I called back it took a while to get an answer and I told the person I was just abruptly hung up on I kinda just got a chuckle over the phone and then a confirmation on the hours like I had tried to get in the first place. No one deserves to be shut down... learn some respect.

Yummy large ice cream cones

I was shocked to know this place existed and that I had never tried it! After debating several different flavors of both ice cream and gelato, I decided to go with the Almond Joy. It was fantastic. My first lick was like my first bite of the candy bar. Ceamy coconutty, chocolatey deliciousness. I'll definitely be back to try all the other flavors. So, I would highly recommend this place to any ice cream enthusiast.

Of all the choices in Colorado Springs, this is definitely my favorite. You get a great amount of delicious ice cream for a fair price.

Great ice cream. They have gelato, hard pack, and soft serve. They even have a dairy free soft serve that changes flavors I think weekly. It is delicious and the staff is friendly and inviting.

I love this place but was disappointed that that they are not practicing distancing there during this epidemic. Whole families with no masks should not be coming in like things are normal. There should be signs that only 3 customers are allowed at a time and not groups. Theres no room for a bunch of kids in there and distancing also.

We were recommended to go to this place by a neighbor, we went on Sunday the employees were wearing masks. Unfortunately a group of at least 14 people came in two different parties. They crowded around the counter speaking loudly and close to one another.I will not be back, it is unsafe, I saw no hand sanitizers available for us as we left. Disappointed they are not behaving in a safe manner for all customers!

Love coming here for family gatherings. We were here when it first opened and holds a special place in our hearts! Now, many years later a fun, low key place to enjoy a conversation and have some ice-cream.

The ice cream and gelato here are SO DELICIOUS!! And they give large amounts!! The Rizuto’s Coffee ice cream was our absolute favorite, but all of the other flavors we had were amazing too. Don’t judge us, but we went twice in three days because we liked it so much!
